Shayna Crews is a native of Miami Florida, earning a BFA in Dance from Wright State University, BA in Theatre from Lynchburg College, and MFA in Dance from Shenandoah University. Production credits include Chicago, Guys and Dolls, A Chorus Line, Anything Goes, Crazy for You, Showboat; Meet me in St. Louis, and A Christmas Carol. Her professional credits include The Sound of Music and Young Abe Lincoln at The Lincoln Amphitheatre in Evansville, IN, 20th Century Christmas at La Comedia Dinner Theatre in Dayton, OH and The Lost Colony Outdoor Drama in Manteo, NC. She has performed at the American College Dance Festival, Old Dominion University Choreographers Showcase, The University of Arizona's Jazz Dance Spring Gala, Pensacola Junior College Jazz Workshop, Washington DC's Joy of Motion's Choreography Showcase, Kitty Clarks Art Farm Cafe', and has traveled to Spain representing Shenandoah University to perform for the 2006 Estada Interdansa. Shayna is a certified member of Florida Dance Masters Association, and Dance Masters of America, Chapter 17. Currently Shayna is the MAKEUP ARTIST at LeeAnne Ashley Studio of Dance in Bedford, VA. Shayna is also the faculty chair for Theatre and Dance at Liberty High School, as well as being the MAKEUP ARTIST for both departments.
LeeAnne Ashley Schwartz is the owner and Artistic Director of LeeAnne Ashley Studio of Dance. Her dance studio has been in existence for eleven years located in Centertown Bedford. LeeAnne is a native of Miami, Florida where she spent her childhood studying dance with several teachers. She attended Wright State University in Dayton, OH with a major in Theatre Studies. Her production highlights include: Dance Captain for "Crazy for You", Costume Mistress for "Chicago", and Stage Manager for the 1998 Junior/Senior Dance Concert. LeeAnne was the recipient of the Blackburn award for her outstanding choreography in the production of "42nd Street" performed at the Dayton Playhouse in Dayton, Ohio. LeeAnne is also an active member of Florida Dance Masters Inc. and Dance Masters of America Chapter 17. LeeAnne is very passionate and will continue to bring arts awareness, education and performing arts to the Bedford community for years to come.
